Attendees will learn how to:

  • Use Jupyter Notebooks and TensorFlow to explore a pre-trained object detection model to detect 'dog(s)' in an image.
  • Serve the model in a REST API (representational state transfer application programming interface) as a Flask application.
  • Use Source-to-Image (S2I) to build, deploy, and serve the AI model (the Flask application).
  • Explore Kafka Streams from Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Deploy a Kafka consumer with the same object detection model.

  • Explore ArgoCD: GitOps-based continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes
  • Install ArgoCD on Red Hat OpenShift.

  • Deploy applications to Red Hat OpenShift, the GitOps way.
